#### How do Soccer players score a goal easily when he is parallel to the side-lines? Let the soccer player be at point A.

Let PQ be the line parallel to the sidelines. The larger the angle , the greater the chance of scoring a goal.

What should be the position of the player in order to get the value of maximum?

The angle is maximum when AB is a chord of a circle and PQ is tangent to the same circle.

How does the player know how far he should be from point Q?

Let us assume BQ is 5 m. Dimensions of a goal post are 2.44 m high by 7.32 m wide

Using tangent-secant theorem,

PQ2 = AQ * BQ
= (7.32 + 5)* 5
= 12.32 * 5
= 61.6

PQ = 61.6= 7.84 m

The angle of waggle run and the angle they make with the sun forms a pair of corresponding angles.

But what exactly is the Golden Ratio?

Golden Ratio (also known as the Golden Section, Golden Mean, Divine Proportion) is a mathematical ratio.

The golden ratio is commonly found in nature and it is the reason why we find it so visually appealing.

Architects, painters and designers use this ratio so that their creations become aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

The value of golden ratio is 1.618. This ratio is obtained when a line line is divided in a special way.   The length of a person's forearm divided by the length of the same person's hand results in a number close to 1.618.

#### Can you help Tom and Tess? Tom and Tess went to fetch water from a nearby pond. They wanted to fetch exactly 7 litres of water altogether from the pond. Tom had a bucket of 5 litres capacity and Tess had a bucket of 3 litres capacity. How did both of them bring 7 litres of water?
